R Time is an exciting, dynamic personal and social education programme. The emphasis is upon creating effective respectful relationships, and this is achieved by random pair work and through a promotion of good manners.
 

Godolphin has a 15 minute R Time lesson, once a week, throughout the whole year. The children are given a short task to complete together, in pairs to emphasise a working together partnership. All tasks are achievable, and so a sense of success is created among the partners.

The children always greet and thank their partner, before and after the task. They give positive feedback by saying something nice to their partner about how they have worked together during the task.

This programme is for all primary aged children and of all abilities.

The programme benefits all children, and the adults working with them. It transforms relationships between children in classes and improves overall manners and behaviour.
